The Flatrock-Hawcreek School Corporation consists of Cross Cliff School
(kindergarten through 2nd grade), Hope Intermediate (3rd through 6th grade), and
Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School (7th through 12th grade). Special needs students
are served through the special education cooperative in Shelbyville. The student
teacher ratio for the entire corporation averages 15 to one. The school district
prides itself on meeting the needs of its students with the care of a family.
In a study conducted by Cinergy, the Corporation was rated among
the top 12 school for delivering the most return for education, based on per
pupil expenditure. The same study also rated FRHC's graduate rate among the top
