PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

 Dear Web Page Visitors:

 Welcome to the Hope Area Chamber of Commerce web page.   We have information on the Town of Hope, Indiana, and on some of the activities.   We want you to enjoy this information and use it.   

 We are in the process of upgrading our web page.  We have a new person who will be taking care of the web page on a continuing basis and she will be upgrading and adding new information.    She will also be upgrading all membership list information.   We have not done a very good job in this area, and we apologize.   But in a few weeks, you will be able to see all of our members listed with contact information.

 The Hope Chamber has designated Economic Development in the community as a top priority this year.    Although we have worked on several projects in the past, we are going to make a concerted effort to improve the economic development picture over all.   We are working with the Hope Town Council members to do “Asset Mapping” and create a Strategic Plan for Economic Development in the area.   Keep watch for announcements about this dynamic project for the Hope Community.

 Also, we will continue to work with the Town Council to support the activities that they pursue for upgrading the infrastructure of the community.    And, we will continue our efforts to support the new Community Center and the School Corporation as they outline their plans for the future. 

 Yes, we are a small community, but we are on the move.  Watch for future growth and development and consider coming to Hope, Indiana to see what we have for you and your company and your family.
