- Hope is the hub of a 50 mile cultural and recreational wheel: like hunting,
hiking or fishing? Brown County and White River Sate Parks and 11,000 acre Lake
Monroe are all within 50 short miles.
- Hope Summer Playground offers baseball and softball to over 250 local boys
and girls each summer. A not-for-profit group, HSP relies on volunteer coaches
and helpers to keep its four diamonds in full swing all summer
long.
- Like golfing? Robert Trent Jones' 27 hole masterpiece Otter Creek Golf
Course is ten minutes from Hope. Otter Creek is America's finest public golf
course and has been home to the Indiana Amateur several times. If that's not
enough, there are four other public courses within a fifteen minute
drive, including Clifty Creek Golf Course.
- Natural wonders? Within just five miles is the Flat Rock Cave, Possum Glory
along Clifty Creek, and fossils from the days when Indiana was at the bottom of
an ocean.
