Department also provides free advanced EMT-II medical care through its ambulance
service.

State College, Indiana Business College, and Indiana Wesleyan University are literally on

Indiana University both at Indianapolis and Bloomington offer world-class MBA
programs… and yes, they're all within 50 miles of
Hope.
- If volunteerism is your thing, have we got a deal for you! Heritage of
Hope, sponsors of the annual Hope Heritage Days Festival, can always use lots
more help. (That's the September weekend when over 40,000 tourists decend on
the town to enjoy lots of homemade food and world-class
entertainment!)
- Southern Indiana's biggest and best bike ride, The Hope Ride, finds room for
over 100 volunteers each fall.
- Hope is a community with a rich spiritual heritage. Founded by the
Moravians in 1830, the community remains a center for the church. Eight other
churches have been established in Hope in the past 115
years.
- Shopping is never a problem. Besides a variety of retail stores in the
community, Columbus is only 20 minutes away, Shelbyville is 20 minutes away,
Greensburg is 20 minutes away and Indianapolis an
hour.
- Enjoy professional sports? We have it all: the Indiana Pacers and the
Indianapolis Colts. In the summer, there is AAA baseball with the always tough
Indianapolis Indians playing at beautiful new Victory Field.
